An agreement in principle is a certificate from the mortgage lender indicating in principle you can have the mortgage you need. We’re a huge believer that the first thing you should do before viewing properties is to have a meeting with us. During this meeting we can look at your income, outgoings, and individual circumstances to tailor a specific mortgage with the most appropriate lender.

 

Once we have agreed on how much you can borrow and which lender is the most appropriate for you, we can then help you obtain an agreement in principle from them. This will then provide peace of mind for, so you know which properties fit your budget before you start arranging viewings and then it will put you in a great position for when you do find your perfect home and wish to make an offer.


We work with multiple estate agents, and we know this will also reassure them and they will know you’re a 'proceedable' which could help you get your offer accepted.

There may be a fee for mortgage advice. The actual amount you pay will depend on your circumstances. The fee is up to 1% but a typical fee is £495.
