My name is Jonathan Balch, and I am the director of Balch Mortgages. I have over 16 years’ experience as a mortgage and protection adviser.


I first developed my skills as a mortgage adviser whilst working for Barclays Bank. I worked there for 10 years before I was offered a step up in my career as a Mortgage and Protection Manager for HSBC. I spent 3 years working for HSBC until I realised, I was heavily restricted working for banks and wanted to be able to access a wider market to ensure I could offer my clients the most appropriate products and services.


I then set up my own business 'Balch Mortgages' and now I can offer clients access to a wider range of mortgage lenders and products.


I love my job and am very proud to be able to do this on a day-to-day basis. My main passions are being able to help people achieve the goals and dreams and using the experience and knowledge I have developed throughout my career to ensure, I can help as many clients as possible.
